      Description

      Documentation: https://wiki.xnat.org/display/XNATDev/Security+Settings.

It doesn't seem to change anything regardless of what I set it as. Moreover, there's nothing in the documentation above as to what this is even supposed to do. My guess is that if it's set to https and you go to http://site, you get redirected to https, but that's just a guess.

Rick says that if it's set to HTTPS and you try to go to the site with a HTTP url, it should fail.

Rick Herrick, I'm not really sure how to test this since the dev servers don't support HTTPS as far as I know. Any ideas?
