      Description

      Currently DicomEdit can anonymize DICOM data in standard DICOM header fields and can remove private headers. There may be a tag to remove overlays. However, sometimes the same tags are embedded again within a sequence. We need to be able to extend our standard DICOM anonymization functionality to handle private headers and sequence values.

      Cheap and easy solution will be to remove particular private headers or sequence values.

      Best solution would be to find all tag values specified in an anonymization script, e.g. (0010,0010), no matter where they are contained, so first standard DICOM tag and embedded in a DICOM sequence, and perform the appropriate anonymization operation.

      Talk to Jenny about requirements and development goals. She'll contact Kevin to find out the state of any development work that may have already been completed toward this task.
